the day after

Playing catch up today.... so something simple for dinner. Hope to be a bit more together tomorrow! Sausage and mash mmmmmmm. Trying to get links to Totalbaby but hard to find free ones! Also I have to start thinking of getting posters out for the fundraising 80s disco I am organising for Carter Barr in a coupla weeks time, its totally unrelated to everything else thats going on, I am just trying to schedule in some social time!

On a different note I hate all these programmes that are interlinked and try to be too clever and log you in when you dont ask them too - then I have to go back and remember the password I used for whatever programme it happend to be just to get on with the little task that I thought would only take a minute or two......

Baby shows

So I have the first day of the Big into Baby show over me... I was unsure whether this was going to be useful, the show is smaller than I thought and is hard hard work (I'm shattered!) but seems like a so far so good. I only hope I have enough energy to get me through it tomorrow! What a week this has been - and I have come home and there seems to be a competition as to who is the most tiredest. We are pathetic people... Have had help from good friends today and a few new ideas of things to do with the site have come through today. More things for the To Do list!

Little Boxes (on wheels)

Toffee popcorn. Its the answer..... Anyway - constructive day, a few more things off the To Do list including getting a handy box with wheels, bought today from B&Q and was such a hit with the boys that they took turns pulling it. Then we went to Sainsburys and we put all the things we needed into the box on wheels and the one year old pulled it around. Then the boys took in turns to pull it back to the car. Fantastic. Also found a projector stand in the shed. Set up the projector (meant for the baby show) up in the living room so the boys watched a bit of one of their favourite movies projected on the living room wall. Hence the pop corn...

Just re done my ppt slide show for the weekend. Really should do September newsletter...

marketing

So, I painted over the little white bits on the boys bedroom wall, so thats another thing off the To Do list, and I have finished the poster for the 80s night, so once thats been approved then I can start put that up about the place, but I am still racking my brains as to new ways to market this site. Its a toughy. Marketing is so easy to say but there are so many aspects to it. So put the little cogs to work.... also must remember key tomorrow for M&Ts else no one will be able to get into the hall - now that would be embarrassing!

Welcome and lets get started

People keep suggesting that I keep a blog and I have been ignoring them.. I have decided its probably a good way of logging how Totalbaby develops (for my own purposes) and to keep folk up to date with changes that have been made, so here we go........!

Exciting times. I has been a crazy coupla weeks - my To Do list runs onto 2 pages. Getting ready for the Big into Baby show at the Odyssey in Belfast this weekend, trying to get everything ready so that Totalbaby.net makes a big enough impact. I hope they got the payment for the electricity order, must send an email to that effect. I can see of weekend of fast food ahead! On top of that my son has been in hospital recently and has been diagnosed with Perthes Disease, which is not as bad as it sounds, plenty of rest required and no running or jumping about for the forseeable future - thats all very well but you try telling a 4 year old that! Last night the other son decided that he wanted a bit more attention too so I was up at various peculiar hours resettling him - although at 4.30am I could no longer see the cute side... Right must get, this list wont do itself, but at least I can cross 'Add blog' off.
